Our Partnership with Fire Pit Ranch

Fire Pit Ranch, a non-profit faith organization, continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young boys and communities across Upstate South Carolina and beyond. Through faith-based programs, mentorship, and hands-on support, this nonprofit partner is helping individuals grow spiritually, build character, and overcome challenges. We are proud to partner with Fire Pit Ranch and support their mission. We recently teamed up with FPR by sponsoring their third annual clay shoot, an event that not only raises funds but also fosters community engagement and connection.

FPR's Ministry Updates and Successes

One of the most powerful moments this quarter came from Dorman High School’s football team. After a devotional session, eleven players chose to surrender their lives to Christ, a decision that was publicly celebrated when nine of them were baptized in front of their teammates and coaches. This event not only strengthened the players’ faith but also inspired the entire team and coaching staff.

In another touching story, a young boy from the Landrum mentorship program accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized on November 16. This personal milestone reflects the deep impact Fire Pit Ranch’s mentorship clubs have on individual lives.

Fire Pit Ranch’s involvement with local schools continues to expand. The organization offers team-building and character-building programs that help students develop leadership skills and strong values. These programs are active in Spartanburg, Greenville, Union, and Laurens counties, with six new Next Level Leadership Clubs launched recently in Spartanburg and Greenville. These clubs provide young men with weekly mentorship and guidance, but there is a pressing need for sponsoring churches to provide 3-4 men to meet regularly with these youth.

The organization also supports farmers affected by Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina. Their disaster relief efforts focus on practical help such as delivering hay, restoring pastures, and rebuilding fences. This hands-on assistance helps farmers recover and sustain their livelihoods after the storm.

In October, Fire Pit Ranch welcomed 58 children and over 70 parents, teachers, and administrators from Anderson Mill Elementary School’s fishing club. Over two days, the ranch hosted this large group, offering a safe and engaging environment for outdoor activities and fellowship.

Weekly, Fire Pit Ranch hosts a variety of groups including high school athletic teams, church groups, mentoring clubs, and corporate leadership teams. These groups use the ranch’s low-ropes course for team-building exercises that promote trust, communication, and collaboration.

Fire Pit Ranch’s work depends on the support of churches, volunteers, and donors. Here are some ways to get involved:

  • Sponsor a Next Level Leadership Club by providing 3-4 men to mentor young men weekly.

  • Attend or volunteer at upcoming events like the Christmas Party or Fueled By Fire gatherings.

  • Support disaster relief efforts through donations or volunteer work.

  • Encourage local schools and groups to participate in team-building and mentorship programs at the ranch.
